Preparation of Social Impact Assessment of gaming impacts at a registered Club in Western Sydney.

Situation: The Club provides an important focus in an area that has limited access to community and recreational services.  Due to the high cost of running the club, combined with outdated and run down buildings and facilities, the ongoing viability of the club was threatened.  The Club needed a revenue stream to generate the necessary funds for upgrading facilities.

Action:

Outcome: The SIA was approved enabling the Club to move forward with Master Planning for the site and application to Council for consent for redevelopment.
